Joseph Michael Snodgrass , 68 of Webster Springs, WV, formerly of Sandusky, OH passed away on September 4, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, WV. He had been created might 8, 1943 in Spencer, WV to Joseph Eugene and Vera S. western Snodgrass and ended up being a fork lift operator for Ford engine Company retiring just after 36 many years of service. Surviving: spouse, Leone Starcher Newhouse; daughters, Donna Frances Hamon of Gainesville, Fla., Lola Jean Morris of St. Albans: son, Thomas Harry Newhouse of Herndon, Va.; sisters, Virginia Hanlin of Oklahoma; Helen Campbell and Phyllis Spencer both of Sissonville; one grandson.

Survivors: two daughters, Ruth (husband, Robert) Rhodes of Resaca, Ga., and Terra (husband, Dennis) Sexton of Litchfield; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five brothers, Robert McGill of Taylor Springs, Ralph McGill of Fenton, Mo., Darrell McGill of Panama, Allen McGill of Donnellson and John McGill of Greenville; two siblings, Betty Malaysia and Burnetta Redfearn, both of Panama; and lots of nieces and nephews.

Joseph is survived by his wife Linda Smith Snodgrass; sisters Carolyn Sheppard of Green Bank, WV and Patricia Wagner of Athens, OH; a few grandchildren; and lots of step-children. Surviving are two sons, Robert Lynch and Rodney C. Lynch, both of Creston; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She will be unfortunately missed by those she leaves behind, including her daughters and sons-in-law, Delores (Jeanie) and Henry Longfellow of Spencer, Shelia and Terry Bode of Elkview; grandsons, Ian Bode of Charleston and Mark (Kristina) Longfellow of Evans; granddaughters, Dora (Bob) Tawney and Lora (deep) Tawney of Buckhannon, Paula (Dennis) Boggs and Tammi (Kevin) Chapman of Elkview; and 14 great grandchildren; two siblings Jay Minnick Millwood Management, Pearl Hudson and Sharon Brown; three brothers, Robert, Carroll, and Kelsie Westfall, all Ohio; and an extremely unique brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Betty Epling of Spencer.

Surviving are a son, Pat & Margie Floyd of Logan, Ohio; grandson, Steve Floyd of Logan, Ohio; granddaughter, Jamie & Matt Green of Toledo, Ohio; a few nieces & nephews. She was created April 11, 1925, in Advent, a child of belated Andrew Dexter and Delphia Hamon.

Surviving; sons, William J. of Mill Creek path, Bobby of Waynesville, N.C.; child Bonnie Miller of Kings Land, Ark.; stepson, Charles B. Dorsey of Lexington, Ky., stepdaughters, Carol Arnold of Finch, JoAnn Sparks of Summerville, 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
